Reception
Let’s Party!!! After the Wedding Ceremony guests were transported by charter bus to Disney’s Grand Floridian Convention Center for the Pre-Reception which began around 3:30 p.m. The Pre-Reception was in a cute little outdoor varandah. While the guests where having a fews drinks and hours d’vours Scott and I were getting to few minutes to enjoy and realize we were actually and finally married now. We also went into the ballroom to see if everything was setup for the reception liked we have planned. IT WAS PERFECT! When you see the product of so much planning, decision making, and money, and it actually turns out the way you had planned it, it such a good feeling. It was a Fairy Tale setting.
We had castles, stars, lit trees, music, good food, and loved ones. We opted for the Bride and Groom table for two in front of the illuminated castle – as a prince and princess should be.
Our table linen colors consisted of elegant white and silver (below).
One of the most expensive line items we discovered was flowers and floral arrangements. As you can see we did not splurge in this area. We actually cut costs by going to Pottery Barn and buying the glass vases used for the center piece. After the reception we let people take them. We also bought lots of glass votive candle holders and placed several on each table. With the lights in the ballroom dim, as we had envisioned it, the candles lit, the trees shimmering with light, and the castle and starts as our backdrop, it was a magical sight.
Our wedding favor was a Cinderella and Prince Charming chocolate bar with our name and wedding date printed on the front. It was a big hit. At 4:30 pm guests were shown into the ballroom where the Reception began. Finally, we all relaxed and had fun!

Our bridal party setup the atmosphere perfectly. They even had warm bubble bath ready in the whirlpool tub and candles surrounding it….need I say more!
The next morning we left for the airport around 8:00 am to head to Maui for our Honeymoon.
Now to the Honeymoon.
